The ‘Waterfall Café’, bar is located on the opposite side of Sukhumvit Road. It is directly across the road from the Pattaya Orphanage. There is a Karaoke shop and next to them is a small street. There is a small sign on the pole that says,’Waterfall Cafe’. The ‘Waterfall Café’ is located about 30 m down the road on the right. You can’t miss it because it’s the only shop on the block. The other places are private homes.
So, this is a perfectly discreet little place to bring the love of your life to get away from the crowds. The interior is a collection of living rooms, a snooker table and a small bar. There is the most interesting waterfall and pond. The waterfall is lit up and night in red and a small image sets behind the waterfall. There are red lights behind the waterfall that make the scene even more dramatic. It is very exotic. There is a live tree on a small island built into the pool next to the waterfall. There are vines and flowers everywhere. It is quite a sight to see.
The interior walls of the living rooms are murals painted in blacklight, which adds to the sense of a large open area. The figures in the murals are beautiful and got me in the mood for fun and excitement.
It’s great to be able to enjoy a cold drink, play snooker with my friends and lounge around in the big couches with my girlfriend.
Sometimes, my girlfiend wants to be alone with me and we take the winding staircase up the side of this huge tree. It leads up into the tree branches and then to a rooftop covered lounge area. The lounge area has a ping-pong table but be careful that you don’t slap the ball over the railing onto the road.
Downstairs is another big room that is for international dart championship competition or for individual practice. It is great because it is the only thing in the room. There are no distractions and it is well lit. The walls are black, which makes to dartboard stand out. You can’t miss.
The ‘Waterfall Café’ has been open for over two years. They open at noon everyday. Think of the café as your private club. Contact Pascal the owner and you can rent the whole place for a private party. There have been some great parties in the past. There were wedding parties and divorce parties, birthday parties and a wake. There are parties for the fun of it. Some guys know how to entertain themselves and their friends. So, get your club or friends together and make the effort to visit the ‘Waterfall Café’. Live, love and laugh.
