Café New Orleans Delivers

Last year I discovered “Café New Orleans.” I’ll bet that I’ve walked past the restaurant a million times. They are located on Soi Pattayaland 2 in South Pattaya, between the Royal garden Plaza and Walking Street.
My friend kept telling me about the great food. I even bought him a whole pecan pie for his birthday because he told me this long story about when he was a kid and once a year his family would travel south and on the way to their destination, they would stop at a restaurant and for desert would have home-made fresh pecan pie. He claims that “Café New Orleans” makes fresh home-made pecan pie, just like when he was a kid.
I must admit that I’ve never had the pleasure of pecan pie, until we ate that pie at his birthday party a few months ago and now I think I’m hooked. Gad! This is making me hungry. I might have to make a trip to “Café New Orleans” for lunch and finish this story later.
Ok, OK, Ok, I’m back. I started thinking about those baby back ribs and my mouth started watering. The ribs are a “Café New Orleans” special. They make them two ways. One is grilled and the other is blackened. It is an impossible choice. I don’t know which way I like the ribs prepared the most. I think I like the ribs blackened but grilled is really, really great too. Wow! It is so satisfying. This meal will make me feel good for a long, long time.
I asked for pecan pie as a take away. Guess what? When I got back to the office to finish this story, my fellow workers, each took a bite of the slice of pie. I only got about two or three bites of the pie. Oh, well. I can always go back.
Here is a tip for you. “Café New Orleans” offers “home delivery” call 038-710-805/6 My Thai wife does not cook western food as well as “Café New Orleans.” They have all the special sauces and spices. “Café New Orleans” also seems to be able to buy higher quality of food than we can buy at the grocery stores.
It is going to be difficult for me to choose what to order for our meal. They have the best steak in town but I love the ribs too. Sometimes, I have a desire for seafood, pasta and that internationally know “jambalaya.” Oh ya! My friend, they have it and more. I think I’m going to “Café New Orleans” for coffee and desert. Do you want to join me?
