This is indisputably one of the finest and most difficult courses in Thailand situated just 10 kms. from Pattaya. At just over 7,000 yard with a par 72 its up and down layout, blown by the Gulf of Siam's winds poses a real test of golf. Its holes slope past a series of lakes, creeks and strateqically situated mature trees which can block out an ill-placed shot on seemingly generous fairways. Various fruit trees on the course give one the impression of being in an orchard, especially when in season. The grainy greens with subtle breaks require the assistance of the lively experienced caddies to guarantee a memorable round of golf. Look out too for the abundant wildlife' in the form of sculptured bushes and hedgerows, a feature unique to Siam Country Club.
